What is the fee for being on your platform?
There are no fees required to join the 2BuildAfrica online marketplace. However, sellers pay a reasonable fee of 9% for most products sold on the platform. A flat fee applies to products whose prices are regulated.
When and how do I get paid for my goods or services?
Vendors receive payment, net of commission, into the designated bank account at the time of fulfillment or delivery of the goods.
How many products can I display on your platform?
Vendors may display as many products as they desire.
What if I deliver and cannot get paid?
The 2BuildAfrica platform ensures zero credit risk for vendors because they receive payment in full before delivery, subject to mutually agreed conditions.

How do I know that I am getting the right quality?
Vendors on the 2BuildAfrica platform are vetted and are duly registered businesses. Customers are expected to exercise due diligence and report issues surrounding product quality on an ongoing basis to ensure the credibility of the platform. Customers will have the opportunity to rate vendors based on predetermined criteria.
What is the refund policy?
Each vendor has their own refund policy for their products. Vendors will post their refund policy, and customers are advised to take note accordingly. However, most vendors only allow store credit, no returns.
Can I buy goods or services on credit?
Project sponsors/owners will have to directly negotiate terms and conditions for credit sales to the exclusion of 2BuildAfrica.
Can I pay in installments for products purchased on the 2BuildAfrica platform?
Project sponsors/owners and vendors will have to directly negotiate terms and conditions for installment payment to the exclusion of 2BuildAfrica. An installment is a financing arrangement offered by third parties, and vendors still receive payment in full.
How is my information protected?
The platform offers high security for proprietary information.
Do you charge customers a transaction fee to use the platform to purchase?
Customers pay a transaction fee of up to 2% at checkout.
